What is at stake at the Season Two World Championship?

Twelve teams from around the world will battle for the title of Season Two World Champion and their share of a $2 million prize pool, the largest in eSports history!

After the last game in the group stages, how will you be deciding the seeding for the following single-elimination stage?

We will be doing a draw, either live on stage or backstage (depending to time constraints) on Thursday October 4th. Either way, we will have teams present.

What is the tiebreaker rule for the group stage?

If there is a two way tie, the team who won the head to head match in the group stage between the two teams will advance. If there is a three way tie, additional 3 team group stages will be played until there is a winner.

What was the reasoning behind the draw sending Azubu Frost to the group stages? Will this be the same format for Season 3?

There were five regions, and only four top seeded slots for the quarterfinals. It was a random draw done live on OGN during the Korean Regional Finals. Next year we are considering alternative solutions, but this year it was the fairest way to go.

Will players be wearing sound-proof headsets during their matches?

We like having the players be part of the atmosphere and more engaged with the audience. They will be wearing new soundproof headsets, similar to what helicopter pilots wear (no joke).
