Ohio State University-Main Campus

We began as Ohio State's only LAN club, hosting small tournaments consisting of 20-40 people every quarter. Since then, we have explosively grown to hosting large scale events (mostly focused around League of Legends) drawing in 150-200 people every semester for a massive in person LAN party featuring League of Legends.

We are also a charity organization as of this year! At our first charity BuckeyeLAN event, we donated over $800 to Child's Play from the proceeds of that event alone.

As our organization grows in size and popularity, we also began aggressive social media. We now have about 1000 people on our email list and over 2600 likes on our Facebook page.

We strive to hold the highest quality LAN parties possible and to build a welcoming and fun community in one of the best schools in the nation.

We hope you accept our club into your program, and we look forward to hearing from you!

E-Sports Initiative

E-Sports Initiative is a nonprofit organization that strives to galvanize recreational and competitive video game players, as well as the entertainment industry, to raise money for local causes. We strive to create a beneficial impact on the community while maintaining a positive image of the industry and its consumers.

Currently, E-Sports Initiative’s mission is to empower local Columbus-area students in studying STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) –related fields, and to enrich the education experience of these students by directly funding affiliated programs.

Don't see your club?

If your college doesn't yet have a League of Legends club, you just might be the organizer to start one. Before forming a club, be forewarned that it’s a serious commitment that takes a lot of hard work and dedication. If you’re serious, we think you’ll find running a League of Legends club a highly rewarding experience

Bear in mind that some other organizer from your school may have already have an application in progress. If we receive a number of applicants from the same institution we’ll do our best to connect you so you can pool your efforts.

Add a club

Once you complete your application, you will be linked to The Structure Challenge, which will walk you through the first steps of creating your club's structure. Successful completion of this challenge is required before your club is official recognized and appears in the Collegiate Program registry.
